Science House, The Rocks Sydney Australia
HBO+EMTB were commissioned by the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority to undertake the Conservation Management Plan for Science House located in the Rocks, Sydney.
Science House has a strong aesthetic streetscape presence and social significance in the Rocks precinct by clearly demonstrating the architectural development of the area in the inter war period. Science House was originally established as a building with exemplary architectural design to accommodate a group of learned societies and received the first ever Sulman Award from the NSW RAIA in 1932.
