HBO+EMTB’s adaptive re-use design of the WineVault facility has created an ambient atmosphere and authentic cellar experience in harmony with the location.
The space features ‘The Tunnel’, a unique tasting room and function space created following the serendipitous discovery of a disused brick quarry rail tunnel.
The ambience of the Tunnel extends to the design and branding of the facilities’ shop front reception and retail space, which includes an intimate bar area.
Specifically designed for wine storage, WineVault incorporates the latest technology to maintain optimum air quality, humidity and cellaring conditions of between 14 and 16 degrees Celsius. It also offers advanced security including biometric palm scanner access to the private vaults in addition to motion and tremor sensors.
