The High Court of Australia

Adjacent the National Gallery, the High Court of Australia is an iconic national building, incorporating functional yet majestic and voluminous space. The design was the winning entry in a national design competition and was awarded the Royal Australian Institute of Architects’ Canberra Medallion.

Most recently, its enduring architecture was acknowledged with the 2007 Royal Australian Institute of Architects’ 25 Year Award. The High Court building is also listed as a place of historic significance.

HBO+EMTB has since been commissioned to undertake a variety of refurbishment and upgrade works at the High Court.
