Arup, Brisbane
Arup’s move to a new landmark building at the edge of Brisbane’s CBD heralds the reinventing of the Valley as a vibrant place to work. The move gave Arup the opportunity to address the organisations strategic accommodation requirements and embrace their "vision" beyond 2008. Key to Arup’s brief is workplace change and effectively responding to unique working requirements for the various disciplines.
The design solution provides for limited offices and increased shared facilities such as meeting rooms and resource areas and equipment. Workstation sizes have been rationalised to provide for required differentiation through additional kit of parts rather than footprint size. The diverse needs of the varied workstyles within Arup were considered and catered for through additional furniture elements and specific support facilities.
