HBO+EMTB was commissioned by the John Holland Group to provide design and project coordination services for their new 2,500sqm tenancy in Perth’s Osbourne Park.
The brief called for an open and transparent work environment. To achieve this, HBO+EMTB’s design comprises largely open plan workspaces. Required offices and built support spaces (utilities and store rooms) are located adjacent the building core, maximising daylight penetration across the floorplate.
An internal staircase links the floors and culminates in a large central breakout, all contributring to greater connectivity and interaction between staff in the separate departments of the organisation.
Graphics of significant John Holland projects and services are featured in both staff and client areas of the fitout, reinforcing the company’s corporate identity.
