Brisbane Airport Central Parking Area, Brisbane Australia
HBO+EMTB completed the design and tender documentation for Stage One of the Central Parking Area which includes staff car parking, ground transport operations, taxi holding, service station and café.
The landscape design integrated with civil works to provide best practice in Water Sensitive Urban Design. Shade from trees was maximised by orienting the parking rows to the north. Bus shelters have been designed as both wayfinding devices and to provide passive solar comfort.
