HBO+EMTB sponsors Woodvale Challenge
18 December 2008
HBO+EMTB’s Auckland studio is sponsoring a crew in the 2009 Woodvale Challenge, raising both funds and awareness for prostate cancer.
In a bid to become the first four-man crew to row the Indian Ocean, the team will cover over 3,500 miles (nearly 5,800 kms) from Geraldton, Western Australia to Mauritius in approximately 60-70 days.
The Challenge helps to raise awareness of prostate cancer, which is the most prevalent form of cancer amongst New Zealand men at rates comparable to breast cancer amongst women.
