HBO+EMTB was engaged to assist Bloomberg in optimising their Singapore
facility. Various factors prompted the commission including increased
headcount, lack of meeting rooms, and a shortage of suitable, alternative real
estate in the CBD.
Our Workplace Solutions team developed a scheme that
accommodated the headcount increase within the existing 26,000sqft envelope. The
shift to bench-style desking increased the space efficiency, and workplace
standards were optimized through increased density.
The reconfiguration freed valuable real estate, with all staff benefiting from a variety of new meeting rooms, and a generous increase in socially interactive, collaborative spaces.
