HBO+EMTB assisted Chevron in optimising their 84,000sqft Singapore tenancy.
The process involved extensive interviews, workshops and surveys with users from the Chevron Executive through to departmental focus groups. HBO+EMTB collaborated with Chevron management, undertaking a thorough review of their real estate strategy in order to define space planning and design requirements.
The outcomes of this consultation period informed our design studio's understanding of requirements, providing the guiding principles of planning and design standards, real estate objectives and future business direction. The resulting environment incorporates HBO+EMTB’s recommendations including:
_the consolidation of key departments and improvements in operational adjacencies
_the introduction of shared desking where appropriate
_modular planning and reduced built works to reduce the impact of future churn
_the egalitarian standardization of office and workstation sizes across all staff
